I know it´s only Rock and Roll...but I like it

MENORCA WEDDING DAY

A Wedding in Menorca

The first thing Laura and Albert told us was, “We don’t like big weddings, and we’re not having one.” What they had in mind instead was an intimate ceremony in the backyard of a local boutique hotel, followed by a rock and roll party.

It was the week of local fiestas in Albert’s hometown of Ferreries, in Menorca, and the streets were adorned with colourful ribbons. Hotel Ses Sucres, located close to the groom’s family home, became the perfect setting. On the day of the wedding, Albert walked to the hotel accompanied by his family and closest friends.

The backyard of this eccentric hotel provided a simple yet picturesque backdrop for the ceremony. Yellow was the colour of the day.

After the ceremony, everyone followed the newlyweds to the final destination: a traditional Menorcan countryside house. There, guests enjoyed a self-service open bar, a vintage neon light displaying the couple’s initials, and plenty of live music. The DJ played timeless classics exclusively from vinyl records, and as far as we’re concerned, this celebration ranks among the best non-traditional weddings.
